About this place
A 90-minute wooden-boat cruise from Pakse pier past the Sedone–Mekong confluence and the Lao–Japanese Bridge, with drinks and Lao snacks.
Boats leave daily around 17:00, heading south towards the Lao–Japanese Bridge before turning back to watch the sun set behind the giant Buddha on Phou Salao. The ticket includes a Beerlao or soft drink and snacks.
Life jackets are on board, and trips are cancelled in storms or unusually high water. Times may change during the Boun Ok Phansa boat races; private charters are available for groups.
