The riverside road from Wat Luang to the Sedone bridge will be closed at times, and crowds come in from all over Champasak.
Tuk-tuk and jumbo prices are often 2–3 times higher than usual. Check a reference price with the PakseHub fare calculator and always agree the fare before you get in — or book a verified driver. Allow extra time to reach the airport and bus terminals.
On the full-moon night illuminated boats are floated on the river. Watch your bags in the crowds and don't park motorbikes across emergency access lanes.
