A half-day class that starts with a shopping walk through Daoheuang Market, then cooking laap, mok pa, jeow and mango sticky rice in a garden kitchen.
Your teacher walks you through Daoheuang Market, explaining how to pick Mekong fish, Lao herbs and sticky rice, then a tuk-tuk takes you back to an open-air garden kitchen where you cook five dishes and steam sticky rice in a bamboo basket.
Morning (08:30) and afternoon (14:30) sessions run daily, vegetarians are catered for, and you take the recipes home. The per-person price covers transport, ingredients and the meal you cook.
