Your itinerary
Day 1
- 09:30 Stay 1 hr 30 min

Leave Pakse around 08:30 — 38 km along Route 16 (charter van, or the Paksong songthaew to the Km 38 turn-off). Twin falls plunging more than 120 m, the tallest in southern Laos, with a zipline if you dare.
- 11:15 Stay 2 hr

Just 3 km from Tad Fane: clear water, safe swimming spots and a viewing bridge. Have lunch at the stalls by the entrance. In the rainy season the current is strong — stay away from the lip of the falls.
- 14:00 Stay 2 hr

Walk through Arabica and Robusta rows, see drying and roasting, and taste a fresh cup with the grower. The harvest (Nov–Feb) is the liveliest time; buy beans to take home.
- 17:00 Stay 1 hr

Paksong market in the late afternoon: highland vegetables, fruit and warm jackets. Overnight in Paksong — at about 1,200 m, nights can drop to 12–15°C.
Day 2
- 07:30 Stay 1 hr 30 min

Wake up to mist over the plateau, linger over coffee in a garden café and visit an ethnic village around Paksong before heading west.
- 10:00 Stay 1 hr 15 min

A quieter, mid-sized fall; you can walk down behind the curtain to the pool. Calm and swimmable in the dry season, but the path is slippery after rain.
- 11:30 Stay 2 hr

The “chamber” falls with its ethnic cultural village. Have lunch here, then it’s about 35 km (around 50 minutes) back to Pakse on Route 20.
